The challenge
Network infrastructures face growing threats and limited security resources. Optimizing security posture requires intelligent traffic analysis, intrusion detection and optimal resource allocation. The challenge: design a system capable of analyzing network traffic in real time and detecting anomalies automatically.
Methodological approach
Network topology analysis and visualization. Intrusion detection system (IDS) design. Security metrics and performance indicator modeling. Algorithm design for optimal resource deployment. Performance optimization for real-time monitoring.
Technical architecture
Network layer: packet capture and analysis. Detection layer: machine learning models for anomaly detection. Visualization: network graph with node importance and threat levels. Optimization: resource allocation algorithms for security teams.
The deliverable
System design documentation, prototype implementation and network visualization interface.
